Now and again we suffer from skin rashes whether it’s an allergic reaction, bug bite or just hormonal occurrences. And all at the wrong time, wrong place with no quick resolve. But here are a few items that every woman should have coveted in her purse and home for those OMG occasions.
Quick Fix for Skin Rashes that occur all-of-a-sudden while away from home
• I always keep a product with Aloe Vera in my purse; it will help calm any itching and goes to work to begin healing right away. If you can find it in a stick form, it will work for chapped lips, burnt skin from small sunburns and to calm redness and itching.
Overnight solution for Skin Rashes
• Mix a small cup of baking soda with water and apply to the rash. Baking soda has natural healing properties that take the sting and itching sensation away. It is also great for all types of burns and was one of the ingredients hospitals used for burn patients. This mixture can be messy when applied but it has this cooling affect that works quick.
Do not apply alcohol to skin rashes. Although it feels cool it can strip the skin of essential oils and makes the skin rash look more inflamed and red. Instead use witch hazel and dab on with a cotton ball.
After a few applications of the baking soda, apply Aloe Vera to the area.
• Another great natural solution for skin rashes are cucumbers. Strain or juice some cucumbers and apply the juice directly to the skin rash. It has a cooling effect and will draw out the redness from the skin.
Help with Eczema and Psoriasis
• There really isn’t a cure for eczema or psoriasis but it can be effectively treated so that it stops continuous breakout episodes. Apply creams or essential oils containing calendula, fish oil or omega 3 oils and take probiotic vitamins.
• Many times if you detox your body you’ll notice the eczema or psoriasis will improve. This doesn’t mean you’re cured but it can open up a new way of living for you.

Can You Erase Lines and Wrinkles to look Younger?
There is a fine line between erasing lines and wrinkles and making them less visible. Lines and wrinkles come from years of smiling, squinting, sun exposure and simple aging of the skin.
As we age the collagen and elasticity in our skin begins to break down. Simple facial expressions throughout the years are also a contributor but what can you do? Botox your entire face or become emotionless? I don’t think that’s a practical answer to an on-going problem.
The real problem here is that we all want everything Now! There are real solutions that don’t include a needle, scalpel or doctor’s office.
There are a few measures you can take to prevent lines and wrinkles but nothing short of an evasive surgical procedure will erase them. Minimize and make less visible is a definite.
Practical measures to take:
• Wear Sun screen every day
• Wear Sun Glasses that wrap around to protect the entire eye area
• Limit your sun exposure since it breaks down the collagen and weakens the skin
• Use topical creams that have potent antioxidants and moisture-rich ingredients to keep the skin hydrated. You’ll also want to use creams and gels that fight off free-radicals and contain peptides that will reduce the depth of the lines and wrinkles.
The simplest solution to decreasing the signs of lines and wrinkles is hydration and sunscreen. As we age skin becomes thinner and more susceptible to damage. There are plenty of hydrating mask, moisturizers and creams to build up the skins thickness.
The uses of natural products work double duty to prevent premature aging. Look for ingredients that nourish the skin while protecting it. Many conventional products on the market today claim to use natural organic ingredients while at the same time infuse chemicals into the products. How can you help and hinder the aging process and then claim it’s natural and organic?
Always compare and educate before believing the marketing hype.

Confessions of a Anti-Aging Beauty Junkie
Are you a beauty junkie? Looking at all four points for any and everything to halt the aging process? Many of you out there are undercover beauty junkies flipping though magazines, walking the aisles of your favorite all-purpose pharmacy store searching for the next best item.
This is one of the biggest problems in the beauty industry. The problem doesn’t occur when you buy all the items, although it must be making quite a dent in your pockets. The problem occurs when you start to mix all the products hoping for a quick miracle. You place so many products on your skin that you’re in overload mode.
Your skin is confused! And by the way, do you know which product worked best?
We all just want to know that one miracle cure for aging and then desperation moves in for the kill. That one commercial that swears their product will produce results in 7 days. And by the end of the night you’ve watched keywords that bombard your reasoning until the next day you feel compelled to buy several of the products you’ve seen on TV.
Here’s a fact you can count on – natural organic products work best for your anti-aging concerns. They’ve been working for years it just wasn’t marketed to the masses.
In fact, natural organic products work so well even the chemically-confused corporate beauty marketers are joining in on the band wagon.
But before you believe their hype ponder this…if you mix the good with the bad does that make it good for you?
If they add organic products to chemicals does it neutralize the chemicals and still remain a natural product? I don’t think so!
Propaganda and marketing can obviously turn products to gold but that doesn’t mean the product can actually work its magic for you.
Beauties beware because smoke and mirrors are abound.

Avoid Aging - Take Care of Your Skin
Playing the avoidance game with aging can be quite the challenge and a lot of people have been known to lose a match or two. But, could the reason people lose be because they are not taking care of their skin the right way? Or maybe it’s because they are buying everything that they see on a television commercial or the internet as the latest and greatest anti-aging solution. In all reality, most of these products are just gimmicks and could be adding to the aging process due to the absorption of chemicals through the that occurs from their ingredients
