The Why Has To Be Big Enough

I am writing today to any and all new women entrepreneurs out there. If you read my previous blog, you will see what a hard time I just went through. That wasn't the first time I came across obstacles while trying to set my business up. However, this last time, I almost threw in the towel. The past couple weeks it was like daggers were being thrown at me and I had to dodge them. It wasn't that easy in the beginning either. I work a full time corporate job. Everything has to be done early mornings or evenings. I am relying on my own resources and before my sister became part of my business I did everything myself. There were times I just said to myself why? The economy, money etc. etc...it is so hard! WHY am I doing this!!

However, there is one important question that I just mentioned that I would ask myself when I was feeling down and felt like giving up. I would ask myself "WHY am I doing this?" If your "why" is big enough, then "your why is enough" to help you through any tough time and give you the power to keep on going.

So, whenever I feel like giving up I just think of my whys...My why is that I want to be my own person and not answer to anyone else. My why is that I want to see my dad not have to worry about money anymore and be able to travel back to his home country of the Philippines without worrying about how he can afford it. My why is that every time one of my sisters is hurting I can help them. My why is wanting to help children such as my nephew Rex who was adopted from the Philippines have a better life...

So, to all you new women entrepreneurs out there or anyone for that matter, next time you are feeling down or feel like giving up... just remember your why...
